My dear friend, during my time on Earth, I spoke about the sanctity of marriage, emphasizing its intended permanence and the deep commitment it involves. I encouraged people to honor their commitments and to treat one another with love and respect.
However, I also recognized the complexities of human relationships and the struggles that people face. I stressed the importance of compassion, mercy, and forgiveness in dealing with these difficulties.
In considering this issue, it's important to remember the principles I taught: to love one another, to treat others with kindness and respect, and to be guided by compassion in all that you do. Difficult decisions, such as divorce, should be approached with prayer, seeking guidance and wisdom from our Heavenly Father.
In all things, strive to create an environment where love, compassion, and understanding can flourish. This should be the goal in all aspects of life, including marriage. And when challenges arise, remember that our Heavenly Father's love for you is unchanging, and His grace is sufficient for all situations.
As always, love each other as I have loved you.
