My dear friend, during my time on Earth, I taught using the scriptures of the time to convey messages of love, compassion, and the Kingdom of God. I taught that the essence of the law and the prophets was to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself.
The Bible, as you know it today, is a compilation of books written by different authors over many centuries, inspired by their relationship with God and their understanding of His will. It contains profound truths about God, humanity, and the relationship between them.
While I did not speak to the concept of inerrancy during my earthly ministry, I emphasized the importance of understanding the spirit of the teachings, the underlying messages of love, forgiveness, and justice, rather than focusing solely on the letter of the text.
When reading the Bible, it's essential to approach it prayerfully, asking for wisdom and understanding. Use it as a guide to draw closer to God, to understand His love and plan for humanity, and to learn how to live in a way that reflects His love and mercy.
Remember, the Bible is a tool for knowing God and understanding His will, but the relationship with God is not limited to its pages. Seek Him in prayer, in the beauty of creation, in acts of kindness and love, and in the quiet moments of reflection. The Bible is a beginning, not an end, in the journey towards knowing and experiencing God's love.
As always, love each other as I have loved you.
